Information collected when you use the website

Fix Cost Atlas provides browser-based home improvement calculators. The numbers you enter, such as room dimensions, prices, quantities, labor rates and equipment wattage, are used by the calculator running in your browser. Our calculator code does not intentionally send those inputs to our server to complete the calculation. This does not prevent your browser, hosting provider, analytics service or advertising partners from processing other information as described below.

When you visit the website, technical information may be processed through normal hosting and security operations. This can include an IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, timestamps and requested URLs. If you email us, we receive the details in your message and the contact information you choose to provide.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is configured to measure visits and website performance, subject to applicable consent settings. When permitted, it can process page views, approximate location derived from network information, browser and device characteristics, interactions and identifiers such as cookies. We use this information to understand which calculators are used, investigate technical issues and improve navigation. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses or other directly identifying contact details to Google Analytics.

Fix Cost Atlas is intended for general home improvement planning, not services specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through calculator fields. If you believe a child has provided personal information by contacting us, please let us know.
